Metal Relief Sculptures Shine

The 3rd graders created some amazing metal relief sculptures out of plates, foil and sharpies. They began by building their sculptures out of foam plates. The students then used the idea of Zentangle to create their designs. The tricky part was not being able to erase, they had to "go with the flow." Then they made a black frame with more designs on it.
"I created by using ideas from my mind."

"If you mess up it can turn into something beautiful."

"You need to go with the flow."

"It doesn't have to be perfect."
