Busy this week!

5th graders work on brainstorming their new project: sun design. Our target today was how to convey meaning through an original design.

2nd graders used Marc Chagall's painting, The Rooster to inspire them! They created their rooster's feathers today.

First day! Welcome back to art! We had a great first day of art. All my classes were stellar and even remembered things we learned last year. Amazing. 4th graders discussed the elements of design and created examples to refer to for their future layered landscapes. 5th graders tried to figured out how to convey the meaning and attributes of the sun in their own original design. 3rd graders used resources to draw a giraffe, inspired but the book "Giraffes Can't Dance." 2nd graders were inspired by Marc Chagall's "Roster" painting, while creating feathers for their roosters. 1st graders studied sunflowers to create a Van Gogh sunflower. Here's a sneak peek into our world today!
